Mobile Calendar App for Obstacle Course Racers, OCR Buddy to go live November 1

PLAINVIEW, NY – GingerBlatt, LLC and Blindhack Software are proud to announce that on November 1, 2016 they will launch the mobile phone application OCR Buddy. OCR Buddy is the first-ever mobile phone application developed specifically for Obstacle Course Racers.

OCR Buddy, available on Android and iOS platforms, eliminates the need to visit multiple websites to determine race calendars and also renders spreadsheets, whiteboards and other methods of race planning a thing of the past.  OCR Buddy provides users the necessary information for each race event while also providing the means to maintain and update race calendars.

OCR Buddy offers the ability for the users to connect with their “buddies” and their own race teams/groups/organizations through multiple methods.  OCR Buddy includes other features, including allowing users the capability to keep their own notes about race events, enter their personal times and actual race event lengths and the ability to add race events into the OCR Buddy extensive database. OCR Buddy is for obstacle course enthusiasts from those just starting to those who are elite and professional.

OCR Buddy, knowing the importance of giving back in the obstacle course racing community, will donate 20% of all app purchases to charities that assist our nation’s veterans and help the fight against cancer.  The purchase price will be $1.99.
